Most challenges in life can be helped or even solved by a stronger community. That is the purpose of this website. It run at no cost to anyone visiting it, nor to the venues and promoters that use it to help strengthen our local connection.
Venues and promoters add their own information by updating their dedicated Google Sheet. The information is then automatically pulled from these sheets, combined, and sorted to make it searchable and easy for visitors to find out what events are happening in and around Whitstable.
If you would like to become a regular contributor, you can email me (Sam) at whatsonwhitstable@gmail.com and I'll discuss getting you set up with your own Google Sheet for your venue or as a promotor of events. If you just have a one-off or occasional events and I have the ability to add this for you directly. Please email me.
Please note that I cannot take responsibility for, or verify, the information provided on this site. I also cannot guarantee that external links are safe, so please click on them at your own risk (although I am confident in our contributors, as I know everyone signed up as a Venue or Promoter personally).
I also cannot answer any questions about the events and venues themselves. If you have questions, please contact them directly by locating their contact details from their websites or the internet generally.
The aim is to make it easier for people to find events and activities in Whitstable so they can go out and be with others, to make new friends, find support, enjoy life, and build a stronger connection to their local community.
Any suggestions on how to improve the website are welcome. I will do my best to implement them, bearing in mind I do this in my spare time.
